Valve Covers- Want a logo or design on YOUR POWDER COATED valve cover? We can do that!
We have laser engraved hundreds of sets of powder coated valve covers over the years. Gone
are the days of that COOL router designs into the valve covers. This is the next best thing!

You can ship us YOUR POWDER COATED valve covers. You can also drop ship from your favorite

Artwork: You can send us your logo in a Vector format if you do not have a vector logo we can
create a vector logo for you for an additional fee. We can also put text in special fonts and icons
on them for you. Our customers have sent us all kinds of instructions over the years asking us to
create the design they are wanting. You are welcome to email us and ask us any questions that
you like before placing your order. We are always here to help. We will not start the design
until we have the valve covers in our office. We have this policy because there are so many
different kinds of valve covers and there for different engravable spaces on them. It helps us to
know what imprint area we are working with before we start work on a design/layout. There
are lots of examples of our designs and layouts that we have done for our clients under the
Valve Cover Item on our website.

Price: Includes the following: Up to one hour of graphic design time, engraving, and
ground shipping with $100 of insurance back to you. If you would like more insurance or faster
shipping that’s no problem, we can invoice the difference after we prepare your return shipping
label.

What are the extra charges for vector logo creation: if you have a logo that you want to use
and you only have a JPG or PNG, we can have a vector logo created for you. The cost for that is
$30. If it’s a complicated logo it could be $60. We can advise you of that before we order that
service for you.
 
Production Time: For faster production time please email us the tracking number and delivery
date so that we can watch for it and put you on our graphic design and production schedule.
We will prepare a proof and send photos of the exact placement of your design before it is
engraved onto the valve cover. Once you approve the final proof and layout it will be engraved
and shipped right back to you. Depending on when they arrive and how quickly you respond to
proofs, the entire process is completed within 3-5 business days. If you did not pay for your
valve cover engraving service by checking out on our website you will be sent an invoice that
you can pay with your credit or debit card. Once that is paid your valve covers will ship out to
you.

Other Notes: We are unable to engrave any valve covers with oil fill spouts that stick up out of
the top of the valve cover. Those spouts get in the way of the laser head. If your valve cover is
powder coated the laser will burn away the powder coating to show the metal underneath
(usually silver). If your valve cover is anodized the engraving will turn an ash gray color which
looks really nice but doesn’t burn off of the valve cover. MAGNESIUM: Valve covers that are
made of magnesium (as you already know tarnish something fierce). They also might not laser
engrave evenly under the powder coating. We have only ever had a couple of sets of those and
the client was quite happy but please be aware there could be some unevenness or ghost
images from past designs (if there were previous designs) that show through.
